GD Fittings’ managing director, David van der Spuy, is a qualified electrician, entrepreneur and inventor by heart. In 1989, David joined GD Fittings to grow the business to the industry leader it is today. His technical knowledge of the injection moulding plastics industry, his innovative spirit and concern for the environment have led him to invent a range of water saving products - some of which are patented around the world.

Quality Controller
Quality Controller Michelle Golding joined the team in 2009 following a 13 year tenure at Libra, a top local manufacturer of bathroom and spa products. Michelle supervises product quality and stock control, ensuring that all GD Fittings products which leave the factory adhere to the company’s stringent criteria.

Patrick McGivern

Patrick McGivern

GD Fittings Sales Manager
Patrick McGivern joined the team in July 2012. He is responsible for new business development and client service both in South Africa and cross-border. His varied experience in the plumbing indstry spans over 13 years and, as part of the management team, he helps drive many projects - including new products and implementation processes for SABS, ISO and SATAS in the business.

Denise Anderson

GD Fittings Finance
Our finance, debtors and creditors department is managed by Denise Anderson who joined the family at GD Fittings in the late 1990’s. Denise has a deep knowledge of the business and its products, having worked as factory manager before moving to the finance department.

The success and growth that we have achieved can be attributed to our competent workforce. They work diligently to meet the expectations of our clients.

Our team consists of machine operators, skilled and semi skilled workers who all have in-depth knowledge and experience in polypropylene injection moulding.

Our  vision is not only to save water – we are committed to social change and empowerment. This is evident in our factory in Cape Town where 70% of our team comprises of vulnerable people. We provide a safe and   protected work environment where everyone is part of the team.
